'Nebula pendant'

In this tutorial, I will demonstrate how to prong set a focal stone and incorporate a sunburst design, similar to my ‘Icarus’ tutorial. A kit for both techniques is available. I will guide you through the process of prong setting a rivoli crystal and integrating it into an open flame weave, concluding with a stone-set bail.

Materials:

Wire:

• 2 m of 0.8 mm (20 ga) copper wire
• 5 m of 0.4 mm (26 ga) copper wire

Stones and beads:

• 12 to 20 mm round, faceted focal or flat-back cabochon
• 5 mm round, faceted accent stone
• 1 x 2 mm copper beads
• 2 x 2. 5 mm copper beads
• 1 x 3 mm copper beads
• 1 x 4 mm copper beads
