Wire work pendant 'Acorn'
Hi Guys, in this tutorial I will show you how to create a minimalist pendant with a pear shaped gemstone. We will learn how to create a simple frame that allows the stone to show rather than hiding its features as well as how to set a stone in the bail of the pendant. I hope you like it! Materials:
• 1 m of 0.8 mm (20 ga) square wire
• 1 m 0.6 mm (22 ga) wire
• 5 m 0.4 mm (26 ga) wire
Stones and beads:
• 1 x 20 to 25 mm pear cabochon (choose from drop-down menu)
• 1 x 4 mm flat-back cabochon (garnet)
• 6 mm round, faceted accent stone (choose from drop-down menu)
• 4 x 2 mm copper beads
• 4 x 2. 5 mm copper beads
• 2 x 3 mm copper beads
• 1 x 4 mm copper beads
Tools required (not included):
• Fine tipped flush cutters
• Heavy duty flush cutters
• Chain nose pliers
• Round nose pliers
• Flat nose pliers
