Elven ear cuffs
Hi Guys in this tutorial I want to show you how to make wire ear cuffs. This tutorial is a bit longer than normal as it was quite involved (more than I anticiatepd lol) These are as much fun to wear as they are to make. You just need to adjust the frame to fit the shape of your ear. I will show you how to create the frame, add your base wires, create the weaves and set gemstones. If you are not comfortable setting un-drilled gemstones, you can use drilled beads instead.

Wire :
- 2 m of 1 mm (18 ga) square wire
- 2 m of 1.6 mm (14 ga) wire
- 7 m of 0.4 mm (26 ga) wire
Beads & gemstones:
- 8 x 2 mm copper beads
- 4 x 2.5 mm copper beads
- 2 x 3 mm copper beads
- 2 x 4 mm copper beads
- 1 x 3 mm round facet cut gemstone
- 1 x 4 mm round facet cut gemstone
- 1 x 5 mm round facet cut gemstone
- 1 x 6 mm round facet cut gemstone
(sizes of gemstones can vary slightly as they are not calibrated)
Tools required: (not included)
- Fine tipped flush cutters
- Chain nose pliers
- Round nose pliers
- Bent nose pliers (optional)
